About

TGTP exists to enable leaders, organisations and governments to work with trust deliberately.

The Global Trust Project was founded in response to a persistent gap: trust is widely recognised as essential, yet rarely treated with rigour. When trust weakens, performance, legitimacy, and resilience follow. When trust is present, organisations adapt faster, decisions hold, and outcomes endure.

TGTP works with trust as a strategic capability that can be understood, developed, and sustained.

Distinction

Most organisations talk about trust. Few know how to work with it.

TGTP’s distinction lies in how trust is understood, measured, and developed - not as sentiment, but as a system capability.

Trust, operationalised

Trust is often treated as culture, tone, or belief. Something important, but vague. TGTP works with trust differently. Trust is an outcome. Trustworthiness is the work.

Learn More

Trustworthiness shapes how people interpret intent, assess risk, and decide whether to commit effort. It influences how strategy is received, how authority is exercised, and how systems are experienced in practice.

Making trust real requires working deliberately with the conditions that shape it.

Grounded in evidence

TGTP’s work is grounded in the Trust Equity Index (TEi) - a codification of the universal principles of trustworthiness, drawing on more than six decades of trust research and applied across real-world contexts.

Learn More

This grounding ensures that trust is not treated as opinion or preference, but as something that can be examined, understood, and strengthened.

The TEi provides a consistent foundation for:

  • diagnosis,

  • shared understanding,

  • and sustained action.

It underpins all TGTP engagements and enables trustworthiness to be worked with deliberately rather than assumed.

Measurement before Movement

TGTP begins with diagnosis. Using the Trust Equity Index, trustworthiness and performance are brought into the same frame, revealing actual operating conditions rather than aspirations or narratives.

Learn More

Leaders are able to see:

  • how trustworthiness is shaping performance today,

  • where alignment exists without results,

  • where results are being achieved at hidden cost,

  • and where conditions are undermining both trust and performance.

The Trust Equity Index provides the shared lens that makes these conditions visible and actionable.

From insight to execution

Insight alone does not change outcomes. TGTP bridges understanding and execution by focusing on the practical conditions that shape everyday behaviour.

Learn More

Leaders work deliberately with:

  • Cues - the signals sent through decisions and conduct,

  • Cadence - the rhythms that reinforce priorities over time,

  • Controls - the structures that sustain reliability without undermining trust.

This is where trustworthiness moves from intention into practice.

Focus

TGTP works with leaders, teams, organisations, and institutions facing complexity, pressure, or transition.

The focus is on enabling trustworthiness to be made visible, developed deliberately, and embedded in practice - at the level of individuals, organisations, and wider systems.

This work spans:
• leadership judgement and accountability,
• team and organisational dynamics,
• institutional and societal contexts.

Approach

How we work

TGTP works as an independent, impartial partner.

Engagements are designed to be rigorous, human, and grounded in the realities leaders face. The work happens across organisations and systems, and at a 1:1 level with leaders, where judgement, trade-offs, and responsibility are exercised most acutely.

TGTP does not prescribe culture or impose solutions. Leaders remain authors in their own pathways, empowered by trust-based capabilities and systems.

Designed for scale

TGTP is designed to scale without dilution.

A single pathway, a consistent diagnostic foundation, immersive learning, deep advisory where required, and infrastructure that sustains progress over time.

This ensures trustworthiness can be developed personally and collectively, locally and systemically, deliberately and durably.

Why this matters now

Performance without trustworthiness is increasingly costly.
Trustworthiness without performance is unsustainable.

TGTP exists to help leaders hold both.

People

Across societies, organisations, and teams, trust is under pressure.

His experience spans:

  • organisational transformation and leadership development,

  • public-sector and institutional contexts,

  • cross-sector convenings and dialogues,

  • the design and facilitation of immersive learning environments.

TGTP’s work reflects a deep engagement with trust research, systems thinking, and practical leadership realities - bridging theory and application without reducing either.
